Despite the threat of bad weather, we still had 53 drivers turn out today (Sunday) for our second Red River Region, SCCA, autocross event of 2014.

This was on top of the 25 drivers we had show up yesterday for our autocross school.  Most of those students came back today to experience an actual autocross event.

Because of the threat of bad weather, we ran a much shorter course than we normally do (40 seconds instead of 60) so that everybody could still get six runs plus a lunch break and we could still get packed up and off the Coleman St. parking lot before the bad weather hit.

If you feel up to it, put on your helmet -- sit down -- strap in -- and hang on while I take you for a ride in my souped-up '65 Austin Mini.
