710 KEEL Afternoon News I was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1948. I got married in 1969, divorced in 1974, and I never re-married. I have no children. Before radio, I served four years in the US Air Force from 1970-1974. I became Afternoon News Anchor at KEEZ-FM in San Antonio, Texas in 1974, then filled the chair of Assistant news Director from 1974-75 at KXXO-AM and KMOD-FM in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1975 through 1977, I was news Director at KWBB-AM in Wichita, Kansas. I came to KWKH in Shreveport in June of 1977. I was News Director of KWKH for twenty-four years before transferring over to KEEL-AM as News Director in April, 2001. When I'm not covering or reporting news, I'm usually busy working on and autocrossing my 1965 Austin Mini with the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). I'm also Senior Vice President of the Shreveport Journalism Foundation and a founding member of the Greater Shreveport Walk of Stars Committee.

Robinson Extradited to Caddo for 2004 Murder
A man wanted for a murder that occurred in Caddo Parish more than ten years ago is now behind bars here. 60-year-old Jake Robinson was located and arrested in Claremore, OK, where he had been living for several years, but he refused to come back to Caddo willingly.
