I was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. Yes the spelling is correct; they just spell it wrong in Arizona. Phenix City is right across the Chattahoochee River from Columbus, Georgia. I began working here on 1130 The Tiger (KWKH) in 1990 and have done the Morning Show, Middays and Afternoon Show. Fort Hood Gunman Nidal Hasan Gets Death Penalty

Maj. Nidal Hasan was given the death penalty today by a military jury for murdering 13 Americans during during his shooting rampage at Fort Hood in 2009.

As the jury president read the verdict, Hasan sat without movement. He has claimed that he killed 13 Americans at Fort Hood to protect Islamic insurgents over seas from American aggression and has never denied being pulling the trigger.

President Obama Blames Rush Limbaugh Again for Gridlock in Washington

As CNN’s Chris Cuomo wrote on Twitter, he interviewed President Obama Friday and the president blamed radio host Rush Limbaugh, once again, for the gridlock that's going on in Washington saying, "Most Congressional Republicans are against the idea of defunding the Affordable Care Act, but, again, they’re too afraid to say so because of Limbaugh." The Affordable Care Act is also know as Obamacare.

Three Teens Charged With Killing Australian Student for the Fun of It in Oklahoma

16-year-old Chancey Allen Luna and 15-year-old James Francis Edwards Jr. have been charged as adults with first-degree murder and are being held without bond.

17-year-old Michael Jones' bond has been set at $1 million; he was allegedly driving the vehicle and carrying the other suspects. Jones is charged with the use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory to murder after the fact and will be tried as an adult.
