Dennis Foley
I'm Dennis Foley and I can be heard on 710 KEEL Morning News and half-hourly during Rush Limbaugh.
I was born in Islip, New York, and grew up on Long Island, NY, and in New Hampshire.
I dove into radio when I started attending Hofstra University on Long Island and got involved at WRHU-FM. There I served as News Director of Long Island's Largest Radio News Team and the flagship station of New York Islanders hockey. While there, I covered four Election Night specials, reported live from the 2012 Democratic National Convention, and trained future broadcasters. Under my leadership, WRHU-FM won multiple New York State Associated Press Awards, most notably Best Regularly Scheduled News Program. While working for ABC News, I reported live on Long Island during Hurricane Sandy for ABC News Radio. I have also worked for New Hampshire Public Radio as well as WRIV-AM in the world-renowned 'Hamptons' region of Long Island.
Right now, proud to be on the 710 KEEL news team and am enjoying everything I can in Shreveport while finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Hofstra University.
