Shreveport attorney Allison Jones talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J wright and Erin McCarty about the possibility of an age discrimination lawsuit against the Metropolitan Planning Commission.

Jones claims that her client, Judy Negrete, a longtime employee of the Metropolitan Planning Commission, was victim of "retaliation and discrimination by her executive director." Jones tells KEEL listeners that she began correspondence with MPC Executive Director Mark Sweeney stating that Negrete and two others "over the age of 60 were being told that they were being terminated."

Jones also says that her client "would like to see the MPC cleaned up. She'd like to see somebody to come in and take control and...she'd like to be made whole in respect to her salary." The attorney also says "there's no question that my client feels that Mr. Sweeney needs to be removed, but that's not her decision to make."
