Arrests Made in Weekend Home Invasion
Caddo sheriff’s deputies have arrested three men and are searching for a fourth in connection with a home invasion in Mooringsport Sunday. Around 1:30 a.m., four intruders kicked in a door in the 3700 block of State Line Road. Once inside, two of the intruders hit a male victim with clubs and bats. They left when a 911call was placed by a resident inside the house.
Detectives say the victims knew the intruders, but the reason for the break in is not yet known.
21-year-old Dustin Tatum was located and arrested shortly after the call was dispatched. He is currently charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, but charges could be upgraded.
28-year-old Marshall Phillips of Shreveport was located by detectives at his residence yesterday morning and was arrested for home invasion.
22-year-old Stephen Ray Stevens was caught yesterday morning after a foot chase near his residence by detectives and patrol deputies and was arrested for home invasion.
18-year-old Mason Mascola of Shreveport, escaped into a wooded area and is still at large. Deputies have a warrant for his arrest, charging him with home invasion.
