Arrest Warrants Out for Man Accused of Local Nightclub Burglaries

Arrest warrants have been issued by Shreveport and Bossier City police -- for the man who led both agencies on a lengthy chase, before he jumped into the Red River. Bobby Charles Byrd is believed to be connected to numerous bar and nightclub burglaries in Shreveport-Bossier. An arrest warrant in Shreveport charges him with aggravated flight from an officer. Bond is set at $100,000. In Bossier, he faces burglary and resisting arrest charges. Byrd is still at LSU Hospital, and will be booked into the Bossier City Jail upon his release.
