Arrest Warrant Issued for House Party Shooting Suspect

An arrest warrant has now been issued for a Shreveport man, charging him with a shooting at a house party last month. Detectives believe 31-year-old Melvin Patterson shot 31-year-old Bessie Jordan and 34-year-old Louis Grant, Jr., back on July 29th outside a residence in the 8500 block of Elmview Place.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Patterson and one or more people attending the party.
