An arrest has been made in last month's shooting at Youree Drive and East Dalzell. Back on May 28th, two men told police that another man driving a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Chevy Caprice, got out of the vehicle, pulled a rifle and opened fire on them during an argument. Then the man took off. Police found the car abandoned near the 2500 block of Alberta Street.

Detectives identified the shooter as 19-year-old Cornell Prior, and got a warrant for his arrest. He was located last evening near the 700 block of Clyde Fant Parkway. He's now in the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of illegal use of a weapon. His bond is set at $100,000.
