Jury selection will continue today in the second-degree murder trial of 22-year-old Anthony Paul Johnson. He's charged with the 2008 shooting death of 17-month-old LeGary Adams who died when shots were fired into a residence in the 31-hundred block of Lillian. There'll be no trial for 25-year-old Jannie Wilson. That's because she's pled guilty to manslaughter for the March, 2008, shooting death of Marcus Williams. Judge John Mosely has sentenced her to 10 years in prison at hard labor. In Webster Parish, 57-year-old Cullen resident Jean Hawthorne has been sentenced to ten years at hard labor for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, another ten years for committing an aggravated battery, and two years for illegal use of a firearm. However, the sentences are to run concurrently.
