This year's games highlight teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia, in addition to four Louisiana squads.

This year's "Classic" gets underway on Friday, September 8, with Booker T. Washington from Tulsa, Oklahoma taking on last year's Class 5A state runner up West Monroe. In the Friday nightcap, Bossier City's Parkway Panthers go against Mississippi's Pearl High Pirates.

Three more games highlight the Saturday schedule with Brentwood (Tennessee) Academy facing Dallas' Bishop Dunne. Then it's 25 time state champ John Curtis from River Ridge battling Grayson HS from Loganville, Georgia. And, in the final game, Shreveport's CE Byrd tackles Moss Point, Mississippi.
