The Bass Federation's Division Championship is underway on the Red River. The event hosts the best of the best Bass Federation anglers in the central division. The 12-man state teams hail from Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma. The 96 anglers go head-to-head on the Red River, launching out of the Red River South Marina to compete for the the 2012 Central Division Champion titles both in the individual and state team standings.

The real fight this week will be for a spot in the 2013 TBF National Championship. Sixteen central division anglers -- the top two from each state -- wil advance, and will join TBF division champs from across the country to vie for the national champion titles and all the glory. The 2013 TBF National Champion will earn the esteemed "Living the Dream" price package, which includes paid entry fees and travel expenses as an FLW Tour Pro for a year, use of a wrapped Ranger boad and Chevrolet truck, cash and prizes.

The championship wraps up Friday.
