All Eyes On Tropical Storm Don
July 28, 2011 3:25 AM Hurricane trackers are keeping an eye on a storm that is headed into the Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical Storm Don has formed in the southern Gulf of Mexico.
Forecast models show that Don is expected to continue on a generally northwest track that will eventually take it ashore in Texas.
Officials with the National Hurricane Center upgraded the system’s status after a hurricane-hunter aircraft found a closed center of circulation.
