2015's best known teenage victim, Ahmed “Clock Kid” Mohamed is back in the news.

Attorneys for the family are demanding $10 million over the infamous fake clock incident, along with written apologies from the mayor and police chief of Irving, Texas.

According to The Blaze:

"The letter, obtained by Dallas Morning News reporter Avi Selk, gives city officials 60 days to “comply” with the demands or face “civil action addressing the causes of action and events” related to the infamous clock incident.

The two officials being asked to publicly apologize are Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne and Police Chief Larry Boyd."

Young Mohamed found international fame and a White House invitation from President Obama after he was arrested for bringing a reconstructed clock to school. Teachers treated the clock as a possible bomb. Mohamed’s family quickly alleged anti-Muslim discrimination.
