Agents Find Drugs and Money Hidden on Contractor’s Property
A local businessman has been arrested — accused of selling marijuana on the side.
Agents of the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force arrested local contractor Billy Keckler after executing a search warrant at his property in the 6900 block of Buncombe Road. Agents say their search yielded $200-thousand in cash, 22 pounds of high-grade marijuana, and 28 grams of hashish. They also seized 50 rifles and handguns, an RV, a boat, two vehicles, a bush hog, two trailers, and a bunch of power equipment. Agents say the marijuana and money were well hidden in obscure locations around Keckler’s property and it took them the better part of a day to find everything, with help from a K-9.
