Admitted Illegal Arrested for Stealing Car

An admitted illegal alien pays a New Year's visit to a jail cell. The Bossier Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Jaime (HY-may) Espinoza of Haughton crashed a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 80 and Bellevue Road shortly before midnight New Year's Day. Deputies say he seemed to be intoxicated and admitted to having drank a "six pack" of beer. He didn't do well on the standard field sobriety test and later refused an Intoxilyzer. Turns out...the vehicle wasn't even HIS...it was stolen from the auto body shop where Espinoza worked. The owner confirmed that the vehicle had been in the shop for repairs...and no one there had permission to use it. Espinoza admitted he took the vehicle...and that he was in the United States illegally. He now faces a host of charges.
