Tom Hruby is a 32 year old college student at Northwestern University who thinks he can play a little football. And who's going to tell him no? Hruby is, after all, an active duty Navy SEAL!

Hruby, at 6 foot 2 and just over 230 pounds, is balancing football, coursework, married life and his duties as a SEAL instructor at Great Lakes Naval Station, which is about 30 miles north of Northwestern's campus in Evanston, Ill.

Hruby says the most important thing his SEAL training has him is, 'That I can handle anything.' Meanwhile, coach Pat Fitzgerald says that Hruby is, 'Absolutely relentless. Exactly what you'd expect from a Navy Seal.'

While Hruby's previous missions are classified, Hruby says he's been in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He added that his training is as an expert in explosives and forced entry.
