It's been weeks since Brandon Harris announced that he would be leaving LSU to pursue other opportunities for his final year of college eligibility. There were a lot of teams who immediately came to mind as a fit for the Bossier City native. As one of the highest quarterback recruits in his class, with SEC starts, and bowl wins under his belt, he stands to be a huge addition to any program.

The situation sets up similarly to Russel Wilson going from NC State's starter, to a Rose Bowl quarterback at Wisconsin...just without the baseball career.

Here's more on the latest team to enter the Brandon Harris sweepstakes, according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Former LSU quarterback Brandon Harris is still looking for a school to play at next season. The University of Texas has emerged as a possible candidate.

Head Coach Tom Herman has confirmed that they are recruiting Harris, but there’s no word when he’ll visit the school. North Carolina and Arizona are other potential landing spots for the former Tigers starting QB."
