A Game Of Front Porch Dominos Turns Deadly

Bossier City Police arrested a man on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of a man that happened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday night in the 400 block of Edwards Street. Detectives arrested 23-year old Deandre (pronounced Dee-ahn-dray) Hart of Bossier City on a charge of second degree murder for killing 40-year old Edward Charles Smith Jr. of Bossier City.
Detectives say Hart and Smith got into an argument over a dominos game in front a home when Hart produced a handgun and shot Smith during the confrontation. Hart then left the scene in a vehicle while witnesses took Smith by private car to Willis Knighton-Bossier where he was pronounced dead. Hart also went to the hospital upon learning where Smith was taken and was arrested there by a responding Bossier City police officer. Police also took custody of Hart’s car at the hospital and located a handgun inside the vehicle.
Detectives booked Hart into the Bossier City Jail late Wednesday night after questioning him at police headquarters.
