It's an odd thing to see during your morning drive...raw meat lying in the roadway. But that's what many motorists traveling in the 1900 block of N. Market saw this morning. Shreveport Police Sgt. Bill Goodin says a delivery truck carrying raw chicken spilled its load in the roadway. The driver tells officers he was stopping at a red light when his load shifted, came up over the front of his truck, and covered about 350 feet of roadway in chicken parts.  The mess took almost two hours to clean up, and had traffic snarled for a good part of the morning. The driver was cited for having an unsecured load.
