Coleman Found Guilty

A Caddo Parish jury has found Kimethia Coleman guilty of second degree murder in the stabbing death of Barksdale Airman Brian  Spinks. Jurors deliberated just over two and one half hours before returning the unanimous verdict. Judge Mike Pitman ordered Coleman remanded to authorities and set May 11 at 10 a.m. for sentencing. Deliberations began just after 6pm.  Coleman had claimed she thought Spinks was going to kill her, but the jury didn't buy her story.
