July 4th Festival Ready to Go in Shreveport Bossier

Fourth of July fireworks shows have been cancelled in several big cities including Chicago, but the big display in Shreveport Bossier is still going to happen.  

Budget cuts have forced several communities to trim the costly displays, but that's not happening locally. The Independence Day Festival begins Wednesday afternoon at 1PM. There will be music, food and of course fireworks to wrap up the event.
