I'm sure if we sat down and put our heads together we could come up with far more than 27 things to tell somebody about Louisiana before they moved here. But, truth be known, these two dozen plus three are pretty good!

Number ten: Our state mascot is pretty hardcore! Not to sound overly gruesome, but the Louisiana brown pelican will feed its young with its own flesh if it can't find enough food! Nossir, I didn't know that, either.
