2014 Annual Meetings Scheduled for Shreveport Farmers’ Market Vendors
There are special meetings coming up for those interested in being vendors in the 2014 Shreveport Farmers’ Market.
The 2014 Annual Organizational Meetings are being held March 18th from 9-10:30 a.m. and March 19th from 6-7:30 p.m. for those wishing to sell items produced on a farm or in a garden belonging to them, or someone in their immediate family. Those items include fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, plants, honey or eggs.
Those wanting to sell anything else that’s accepted in the market, including baked goods, jams, jellies, salsas or other home-canned items, frozen foods and cold treats should attend one of the following meetings: March 18th from 6-7:30 p.m., or March 19th from 9-10:30 a.m.
All meetings will take place in Riverview Hall at 600 Clyde Fant Parkway. Parking is located behind the hall and participants may enter through the side door on Crockett St. Information on the operation of the market, rules and regulations and applications will be offered at the sessions.
