15-Year-Old Boy Not Seen Since Thursday, Found Tonight

10:02 pm UPDATE:  Shreveport Police detectives have received information that 15-year-old Michael Owens is safely back with his parents after being reported  missing.  Investigators will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the child's disappearance.

Shreveport Police detectives need your help in locating a teenager reported missing since last Thursday afternoon. 

Fifteen year old Michael Owens was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on February 3, 2011 near his home in the 5300 block of Prentiss Avenue.

Michael is a light complexioned black male, five feet eight inches tall with a thin build. He has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants. Detectives are working with the youth’s parents at this time to determine exactly what happened and where he might be.
