12 Year Old Girl Discovers That All But One US President Are Directly Related To Each Other

About once a week a news story comes up that all my friends ask, "Did you see...?" Well, the latest is the story about all the US Presidents except one being related. At first I thought, "No way!", but then I took a closer look.

Her name is BridgeAnne d’Avignon, she's 12 years old and lives in France. She started out tracing her own family tree, but in the midst of her research came across an interesting fact: She and Barack Obama are 18th cousins. And from there, well, one thing led to another. BridgeAnne  discovered that all Presidents trace back to ONE British monarch, John Lackland Plantaganet, King of England in 1166 and signed the Magna Carta in 1215.
